Andrea Carmichael is a multi-faceted, energetic and life-affirming transgender woman. She has lived a full, rich life, including periods in Canada, Russia and Central Asia. She now lives in the wonderful, welcoming desert community of Tucson, Arizona. She speaks German and Russian fluently and taught both languages at the high school level for several years (having an MA in German). She currently earns her living as a technical trainer, which aligns with her passion to connect with and empower others.
Outside of work Andrea lives to dance. She belongs to a Polish folk dance ensemble with whom she rehearses regularly and performs multiple times per year. Performance opportunities have taken her to Seattle, Portland, OR, Southern California, Houston, and Poland itself. She is a veteran comic, performing both stand up and improv comedy. She also enjoys watching womens' soccer (football), reading (when she has spare time), cross stitching and relaxing with one of her two cats on her lap.
